As we navigate our life after loss, it can feel like it is difficult to continue on.
As a society, we are taught how to move through life but not through death or multiple losses. It can feel as if the world is upside down and extremely frightening to move through this space. We have changed; our capacities have changed, and the world is a very different place especially after dealing with loss and the lasting impacts of the global pandemic.
I have felt the effects of it myself and wanted to share some tools to help you navigate through life and losses of many kinds.
There are seasons of great loss, but the good news is, there is hope to move through the pain and begin life again. The Grief Recovery Handbook was suggested to me by multiple counselors after losing my mom. The grief that I felt was unbearable, and my heart was completely broken and shattered. There were so many days where I lay on my living room carpet, crying out to
God in horrific pain, uncertain that I would be able to get up again. I listened to the audio book as I walked my dog each day, but it wasn't until I purchased the book and took the time to work through it, did I experience significant results. The deep rooted pain stopped and I was able to finally breathe again. The grief recovery method is an evidenced-based program that has helped millions of grievers world wide.
